MISSION STATEMENT
The Regional Family Food and Resources Ltd mission is to work with existing infrastructure within the 14 Parishes of Jamaica by facilitating the organisation, development and deployment of local foodbanks for the communities’ most vulnerable families. “EVERY PARISH SHOULD HAVE ONE”.
This will be achieved by empowering churches, schools and business with the necessary tools, training back up required to set up and run a successful RFFR(Foodbank) in their communities.
WHO WE HELP?
We work with families who: by providing a unique service to the poorest part of the country. RFFR is the only charity that seek to educate and empower residents to change their cycle of poverty.
-Have been Bankrupt and Homeless
-Have experienced financial setbacks.
-Have taken the wrong path and need the tools and support to transform their lives for the better.
-Suffer from low self-esteem and need support to realise their dreams.
-Feel their voice isn’t being heard and need support to speak up and take control of their lives.
-Experience isolation and loneliness and want to be more connected.
-Have been unemployed and are now ready to take their lives back.
-Need a boost of joy, enthusiasm and support.
-Want to use the unique gifts they must start their own business.

HAVING A SAFETY PLAN AND SUPPORT PLAN FOR THOSE WHO WORK IN THE CHARITY
- Making Volunteers background checks to ensure the safety and well-being of those we serve is protected.
- Risk assessment on all the centres to ensure the safety of all volunteers and patrons
- Health and Safety checks to be routinely carried out by trained personnel
- Health and Safety training to be delivered as part of the volunteer inductions
